Switch between workspaces and accounts

Move between your personal and company workspaces in Fulcrum Mail, add another account to the same browser, and sign out of one account or all of them.

One sign-in can belong to several workspaces: your personal workspace plus any company workspaces you own or have joined. You can also keep several separate accounts signed in on the same browser. Fulcrum Mail has a switcher for each.

Switch workspace

If you belong to a company workspace, or to more than one workspace, a workspace switcher appears in the top bar.

  1. Open the workspace switcher in the top bar.
  2. Pick the workspace you want. The apps switch to that workspace.
  3. To start another company, choose + New workspace. See Create a company workspace.

If you leave company setup part-way, pick the workspace again to carry on. In the account menu it is marked Setup unfinished.

Switch account

Select your avatar to open Your accounts. From here you can:

  • Pick another signed-in account, or one of its workspaces.
  • Select Add another account to sign in to a second account without signing out of the first.
  • Select Manage your account to open your account settings.
  • Select Sign out to leave the current account, or Sign out of all accounts to leave every account on this browser.

Accounts that are already signed in also appear on the sign-in page under Already signed in on this browser.

Open the other Fulcrum apps

The Apps button opens Explore Fulcrum apps. It lists the other products you can use with the same sign-in, such as Docs, CRM, Lyre and Cortex, and each has a Visit button. You can browse the same list on the Fulcrum Mail apps page. If you run your business through chat, see the Fulcrum Cortex listing in the apps directory.

Account and workspace are different choices

An account identifies you. A workspace determines which company or personal data you are viewing. For example, the same account can access a personal inbox and a company workspace without those being the same mailbox. Check both selectors before uploading a file or changing a shared setting.

When information seems to be missing

Verify the account first, then the workspace, app and active filter. Do not create a duplicate contact or upload another copy merely because the first item is in another workspace. After switching, wait for the selected workspace’s content to load before acting.
